Leek is an unfortunate gold dragon who has been pursued most of his life. The direct heir to an ancient empire of dragons, Leek is hunted as a result of his blood, both by those who would kill him for his ancestors' actions, and by those who would try to reinstate the empire with him on the throne. Despite this, Leek's kindness has never waivered, and he has never turned flame or claw against another creature, instead choosing to flee endlessly from his hunters. But he knows he cannot run forever. There will come a time when he must reckon with his ancestry, for better or for worse.
