Thor - Reference Sheet
So, I'm a bit into God of War lately, and I've decided to make a mini-mini-comic of half-a-dozen panels with Thor and Kratos. The problem is that game character designs tend to be a tad complex. And with a "tad" I mean that they have more layers than a costume of Lady Gaga but way fewer colors. So I've made for myself a version of Thor's harness, tattoos, and kilt that doesn't make me want to cut my fingers off. Less complex, and more functional to have the same character repeated more than one time.
(Have you ever wondered why in Hades most of the characters get only one portrait and most of the variations are different faces painted on the same pose? Because they're too complex for a 3D artist, that's why.
