One last batch of adoptables for the time being. :) These are very much like my dragon and pony eggs, but these are a bit more flexible, as they can be any mythical creature. They're also cheaper. I figure some people might not want to get multiple pictures of the same character.
These are $6. For that price you get the egg art, and art of whatever hatches from it, to use as you see fit.* I'll be posting an example of what sort of art you can expect to get with this deal in a few minutes.
To adopt, simply let me know which egg you would like, and send me $6. Then pick which mythical creature you would like to have hatch out of your egg. There are only two rules for what can hatch. 1. it must be mythical, not modern. (Ie. no pokemon, no races made up by people on FA, etc.) and 2. it can't be anthro. (Sorry! I'm sick of drawing anthros, every time I get a commission it's for an anthro, so non-anthros only.)
All mythologies, eastern, western, etc. are okay. And mythical creatures that look like ordinary animals are okay (ie. kitsunes that look like foxes, werewolves in full wolf form, etc.) Just nothing anthro/human., so no vampires unless you want a non-anthro bat.
These are also breedable! Although breeding is not free, you must pay $1 for each egg from a breeding. You can, however, crossbreed these with the growing dragon or pony eggs for free, so long as your dragon or pony is an adult.
These are absurdly cheap, given that I normally charge $20 for colored line art, I'm doing these just for fun, really.
Eggs:
Stone
Water
Fire
Air
Lava - taken
Ice
Lightning - taken
Natural
Pink speckled
Blue speckled - taken
Polka-dot
Vine - taken
*For personal, non-profit use only. If you want to sell prints or otherwise make money from any of this adoptable art, you'll need to arrange for additional rights.

Er... if you want to, I guess. One artist can hardly claim to own the ideas of "lava" or "vines" though. So I'm not sure why you think I had to have copied them from somebody in order to come up with these ideas. I promise you I didn't. I drew these *amazingly* original and creative eggs entirely on my own, with no references.
I was being sarcastic. Of course you've seen designs like these before. Anybody with eyes has probably seen designs like these before. I wasn't really trying to be wildly creative, just trying to make eggs that would make for good-looking creatures. I did NOT copy directly from any other eggs though. I don't do that kind of thing.
I really don't know why you had to accuse me of copying and call me "desperate". That's not exactly getting off to a good start here.

There's no need to be rude about it. I've already explained how those designs get on several eggs. They're common as mud. Generic ideas that people have been drawing for generations. Found in thousands or possibly even millions of different drawings by hundreds of totally different artists. That two different artists should happen to draw fire in kind of the same way, or vines in kind of the same way, or lava in kind of the same way is really not startling or surprising, and your assumption that it must be copying is absurd.
Certainly. :) You can send $6 to spark.costumes[at]gmail.com if you have paypal. If you'd like to pay some other way, just let me know.
I will note I'm really busy right now, so I may not have time to draw the hatched creature immediately. But I'll get to it as soon as I can.
