Angels are typically portrayed as being compassionate beings who wish to bring hope and salvation to mortals, wishing nothing more than to save the souls from eternal damnation. Another thing angels (more specifically archangels) are known for is battling the forces of hell and the underworld in order to maintain order in the mortal world. Initially, Seraphi wanted to heal the sick and wounded and give hope to those around her, you know like an angel would. However, after hearing about the shadows and the threat they present to people, she vowed to take up the blade and fight the demons to keep others safe. One thing that is really telling of Seraphi’s intentions is that even before her powers made themselves known, she had NO reason to do anything; meaning her decision was all her own. Seraphi could have simply lived a normal life and nothing would have changed for her; yet her desire to help others was so pronounced it caused such a radical change that allowed her to do just that. Another telling detail of Seraphi’s desire is her power itself. Sparra acts as a tangible representation of someone’s resolve and fighting spirit, usually symbolizing their outlook or a major part of their personality. So, the mere fact that Seraphi’s power causes her to resemble the angel she wants to be shows just how committed she is to saving and healing others. Even Seraphi’s soul shroud represents this very well. Given her passion and resolve, its safe to assume Seraphi will be a very effective angel, wouldn’t you say?
