Fiadh (Pronounced Fee-a, and meaning “wild” in Old Irish) is a nature spirit / fairy that appears as a canine hybrid. She is rather large for a coyote, betraying her hybrid nature and her magical origin. She is closely associated with the night, and has (or had) some degree of influence over the domain of night. This primarily manifests through her ability to influence the dreams of those around her. This is mostly subconscious and reflective of her emotional state. When she is at peace, she brings pleasant and restful sleep, and when she is stressed or irritated she brings nightmares and restless nights. She can also subtly affect the emotions of those around her even when they are awake in close proximity. In her distant past, she had control over these abilities. Now they are purely tied to her emotions and are far less potent. The dreams she brings are said by some to be potentially prophetic, but vague.
At long last, I finally got her a proper reference, and good lord is it beautiful! I am so happy with it and I am truly proud to have it represent her going forward. Noxeri did an incredible job depicting her and I am incredibly grateful that she offered to do this reference for me. I have always loved how they draw Fiadh, so it was a perfect match for me.

Fiadh is truly special to me, and she has only become more important to me over time. I know it sounds cheesy, but when I saw her for adoption from you, it was like someone had taken a vision from my mind and made it real. She resonated with me immediately. Thank you so much, she, and by extension you, have had such a profound impact on my time in the furry community. (Also thank you for indirectly reminding me to add a credit for you for her original design) 💜
