Only the fact that she turned 19 should speak volumes of how well you took care of her. She was loved and stayed by your side for as long as possible. Cherish the memories and hold on to them tight.
My condolences for your loss. Losing a pet plain sucks. Had to say goodbye to a few in my lifetime too. Give yourself time to cry and to process. And give your mate an extra big hug for gifting you this. They are a true partner~
