I said in the past that I hidden various easter eggs or even used a real life locations in my drawings. Not so long ago my hometown commissioned a short documentary movie about a remnant of the town fortifications: a last, from four, towers with shingle roof. And like many people that day, I could finally see how that part of my town looked like 7 centuries ago. And compare it to the fanart where I attempted the same in the backgroud.
Some of you will definitely recognize this place, now seeing the photo...
I remember how I tried to recreate the exact scenery two years ago with much less access to historical information - I used only 3 pics (from which 2 were used like in 90% of the sources material) as reference, plus the visual knowledge of the actual place.
This made me wonder how that background could turned out if I had back then as much info and references as the historians and the 3D artist who made the render for the documentary.
It also made me wonder, how many of you was actually able to spot the other things I hid in other drawing? Since they are usually small or subtle on the paper and because I have shitty camera, so I see them as a silly details to usually made my drawing more fun because I know that they will most likely get lost in the blur.Občas si říkám zda tyhle věci někoho zajímají? Zda to vůbec někdo řeší? Pravděpodobně ne... Měl bych asi přestat řešit kraviny.
