Playing with a fun species concept. The idea is they're discovered fairly recently in human history, maybe in a sort of steampunk world. Their extremely adaptable (thanks to their Galapagos ancestry) and conform to human standards fairly easily. Mostly endothermic, though they love a good nap in the sun same as any reptile.

Don't call them "dragon", not unless you want a acid loogy in the crotch. They're more closely related to iguanas and have a sort of ancestor worship towards them, holding them in great esteem and respecting iguana territory as "sacred places" on their home island. They're confused why humans don't have the same regard for chimps.

Might flesh these out a bit more. Any suggestions?
