ok, this was taken a long time ago when I lived in Asheville NC. This is the road to the top of Mt. Mitchel and was actually taken in spring.

thanks... It took 5 hours to drive the 30miles to get there to take it, it makes me feel it was worth it when I get feedback like that. I should have posted it years ago, but just now got my scanner back online and this was taken with an old film style camera

A scene that rare is well worth the wait. Usually people have already made their ugly marks all over it by the time anybody can get a decent picture out of it.

I got up pre-dawn this day to get up there as soon as I could just for that reason...turns out they closed the road about an hour after I left because the plows couldn't keep up... oh and Thanks for the Fav!... I don't get too many of those.

No problem, It caught my eyes on my sub list and I had to, prolly going to show my mom that sometime this week if I get around to it.
