The fox that Alps released from the Shadowfall outwardly seemed as if she would just go her own way after her release. She wasn't Letai, after all.

When you come right down to it, if she wasn't Letai, why did Mannus put her in there?

Probably because she was too dangerous to leave alone.

The scanning on this one missed the shading on her hands and hair prettybadly, which I regret. The picture looked a lot better with it. But, the general feel is still there.
