Drawing so many heads for one body seems insanely tedious but it does give good practice for facial expressions at least.

Less tedious and more just difficult to make everything fit cohesively. If I make the upper body too small, I can't fit all of the extra craniums and the shoulders attach poorly; if I make it too large, it's noticeable how strange the proportions are (something understandably apparent in early drawings of Cerei). I also have to put the heads in such a position so that the overlap isn't too bad, since I don't want any of the expressions covered up to the point where you can't read them.

But it helps that I view such things as a challenge to my skills, which motivates me to overcome it.

I like where this is headed. XD
