I've been noodling around with Hero Forge's new function, which allows you to put two characters on a single base. If I thought Hero forge was fun before, OH MY GRACIOUS! Making small scenes is absolutely the best way to waste time I've ever stumbled across! I think I blew the whole week-end illustrating key scenes from my comic strip Carry On, which I've been posting on my forum at the CrossTime Cafe. You can find some of them here: https://www.crosstimecafe.com/viewtopic.php?t=14474&start=320
This one I did this morning, of Fred trying to teach Kathy how to hit a small target with her sword, using an apple suspended from a string. He doesn't look too impressed with her efforts, does he?
Hero Forge has also recently improved the detail on a number of its costumes and hand-held items. As always, though, "close is close enough" when you're creating images of your OC's with somebody else's box of parts. You can see the difference in Kathy's outfit versus Fred's newer outfit.
