I may have ended up taking the boyz of Persona 4, and using them as canvases for more fun X-thread designs.

Kanji's design was another one i had a lot of fun with. I didn't end up using kanji's persona at all for an inspiration, but instead his shadow, plus kanji's own interest in sewing, since it works well with the whole living cloth thing, the X-threads have going for them. the roses as a feather boa and all the knitting needles were fun touches i like. I also definitely wanted to play around with queer masc imagery, since i though that would be extremely fitting for kanji (and something the base game drops after his dungeon, save for the occasional joke at kanji's expense)

his non-monster clothing form would be a badass leather jacket with a skull & Roses pattern on the back, but on the inside is fluffy and soft
