Oh, well that's always fun to do. That's where you put the camera on a low exposure and when you open the exposure you zoom in/out on the subject. I've done that before and I find it very entertaining. I think it was a good idea to focus on the ornament, makes it look like it's "exploding," ya know. Your colors and lighting are pretty decent too, good shot my friend :].
