They're likely jealous of your drawing skills and said that to make you doubt yourself and for them to feel better about their own lack of skills. If it helps to know, I really love your art. My fav of yours is the tiger paws image you made several months ago. The character is very unique, the colors are very well done, and the pawpads look so soft. The way you draw feet in general is unique in presentation and in style, and I love seeing each new post you make. (Also cute typhlosion)
