Lore:
In the hostile forest nation of Engrievion, no government would ever hope to survive without the ability to fight. Fortunately, the ruling Empire have the most diverse and powerful army to ever grace the cursed land, surpassing even that of their former rivals. The "Stag Knights" as they have been coined, are the true backbone of these military forces, for they are the everymen of the technologically advanced armadas. Whereas the Bison knights are the strong and heavy, the Lamb knights nimble and quick, and the Stallion knights are really just the supervisors for the Gear Sentries -which are an entirely different thing- the soldiers of the royal Stag are the courageous and diligent warriors sat right in the middle of the power spectrum, relying not on power, agility, maaaybe technology by quite a bit, but raw wit, intuition, rigorous training, and a whole lotta metal. They are tied with their assisting Gear Sentries as the symbol of not just the Empire and it's might, not just the honor and glory of knighthood, but of humanity's ever evolving ambition, hope, and ever-present spite.
They may just be dudes wearing a lot of metal, but that just makes their growing list of victories all the more sweet.
...Oh, and it helps they have hella drip too. I mean just look at that dude, I know for a fact you're jealous of his outfit because I sure as hell am.
Welcome to something different friends. I'd like to introduce you to a new series of refs and info dedicated to expanding the lore of my black comedy fantasy setting Engrievion, Faction units. Basically, each faction within the setting have their own set of "Units", like in a real-time-strategy game, or the funny grimdark tabletop games with the big blue men and giant robots and tanks shaped like cubes, and I've been planning for my setting to involve such a structure ever since I first came up with it. Who better to start this trend then the most narratively significant military of the story, The Empire. Now, the empire has a rather BIG army, filled with a shit ton of vehicles, robots, and dudes in armor, making them arguably the most complex, so I probably won't reveal everything the Empire has before doing the other factions, it'll more likely be a mixture of whatever units I'm in the mood to do that day.
Admittedly this bio here strikes me as a little small at the moment, so as time passes I may update this with more lore and details, we'll see how it goes.
So, I hope you're looking forward to more of these sometime in the future, cause trust me....it's gonna get weird.
