PSA! I caught COVID at MFF!
If you came in contact with me while I was at MFF, I strongly suggest that you get a COVID Test. I have no idea how I caught it. I took all the precautions, I had all the shots, I was double masked , and washed my hands all the time.
PLEASE TEST!!!

Good to hear. I was down for an entire week actually, not that long ago with it.
Almost ended up in the hospital o.0 Feel like I may be re-bounding OR I've gotten the flu or something else that's been spreading around campus.
(I'm mid forties and triple vaxxed but last one was a LONG time ago, little under a year now)

To be honest, there's not really much point in trying to figure out how you caught it. Whilst masks and hand-washing help to reduce the risks of catching it, NOTHING is foolproof. Also, vaccines are less about preventing oneself from catching it, and more about reducing the chances of becoming significantly unwell from catching it.
I'm not saying this as a way of saying "Oh, you shouldn't bother with taking precautions, anymore" or anything like that. I'm saying this because there was so much shame associated with this virus over the past years. I won't name names, but only the other day did I see someone n Twitter say that "If after the last 2 years you knowingly put yourselves around people while sick, + Covid test or not, you’re kind of the worst of us."
NOBODY should feel ashamed for catching it. Unless we all become hermits and invent somehow infallible robots to do everything for us, we're just going to have to accept that we're all going to catch it at least once.
Paws crossed that you get well soon, buddy. And most of all, keep reminding yourself that you've done NOTHING WRONG. *hugs*
