Icon commission from CinnamonToastBun! Thanks again honbun, you're amazin'! <3
Despite my ability to do some shapeshifting, I don't really get to do that much cosplay! For Halloween, though, I just had to give some love to one of my earliest heroine heroes: Marina from Mischief Makers!
Hide your trick or treaters, though, the spirit of the character might take over and I'll shake them until they drop all their can- err... gems! Yes, gems. Not the candy.
Very long ago backlog that I swore I uploaded, but guess it never happened...
Still: this remains one of my favorite icons for both the nostalgia I have from playing the game as a kid and the adorable little details Cinny put into it (like the little ghosties in the background that look just like the robutt ghosts in the game!).

Nice to see this topic getting a little love (and you know, bun ears work with Marina's look).
I remember when I rented Mischief Makers randomly from a Blockbuster (remember back when those existed?), after I'd exhausted the more interesting-looking stuff.
Afterward, I was kind of shocked I'd never heard of it before then, given how unique and fun it was.
I'm looking forward to DoubleShake and hoping it's a worthy spiritual successor.

Oh dang - there's a spiritual successor?! I can't wait to play another game like this, it really was just... I don't know how to describe it for all it's very strange creativity. I ended up buying a USB-to-N64 controller specifically because I wanted to revisit the game via emulation!
