Roleplaying DtK is too exhausting. And the *real* reason for those semi-circles in his hair--that cannot be dyed out-- is just too cool anyways.
Ill just agree that SoulEater is a very interesting and bizzare toon. It is extremely rare where the show is willing to take the chance of using multi-second freeze-frames or extended silent moments to elevate the humor.
