Before anyone asks, yes, when Mogra was a fakemon region we had eevee and didn’t want to give up our eeveelution concepts so we made an obligatory eevee analog and the name “Fuiui” sort of got stuck on it. Since then, we’ve hoped to expand on and alter the base idea into its own unique thing but with how people can be I just want to be up front about the inspiration for this little guy.

The ancestor of Fuiui has long since gone extinct, leaving the metamorphosis knowledge to be lost while the modern fluff ball became a predominant household companion for years. At some point, though, due to either over breeding or pure negligence, Fuiui has returned to the wild. Due to lacking most survival instincts, they rely on their dusty coats and mottled colors to hide amongst rocks and avoid being hunted. Breeding restrictions have caused fuiui to become an expensive, designer pet in order to cut down on more unwanted releases, while in the wild they are extremely nervous and hard to find.
