Pathes to Legacy is a Sidestory of my main one: The Lost Blade: ~The Story of the 44th Wind Sword~.
It features the own story of Max LEISEREÏEV, the character which "represents" me in my universe.
I'm not the only character in the text. You'll also see Virgy HANNIGAN, the character I've created for my sweet girlfriend Black-Berry (http://blackby.deviantart.com) and usual "guest-stars" like the 44th Wind Sword, the official characters of Starfox and so on...
Here is a little wiki in order not to sink into an ocean of science-fiction terms in the text. Try to find any word you don't understand when you read:
*"Translocated-Katina Space Time": Or T-KST. It's the timeframe of the area. Lylatians decided that space above a position on Katina has the same hour as the position. Just imagine that an astronault in space above Paris should set his watch to Paris's time.
*"Local/Ship Time Match": It indicates that the local time, the T-KST is the same as the onboard clock. A simple coincidence but it had to be mentioned.
*Kateran: The main land of Katina. Don't look for it in official guides, the name was totally invented... ;)
*Katinian Herald: Same comment as for Kateran, I've just created a newpaper name.
* Nano-frag Bomb: Remember carefully. As the scientific community was looking down on Andross, this last made a bomb blow in Corneria City, the capital of the planet. According to an official comics, this bomb would have been setup under the car of James McCloud, but it's his wife who took it and exploded.
The bomb itself if made of a conventionnal explosive charge. Its specialty is theexternal plating which is a dense alloy of micro-capsules which absorb the energy of the explosion and then liberate millions of nano-submunitions which deals heavy damages at subatomic scale.

*83rd SIDE: 83rd Scientific Interplanetary Division of Engineering. It's a division of scientists coming from the whole Lylat system.
*LS3 Positron: Lylatian Scientific Station Spaceship. This terms points at every scientific space station. There're not a lot of them but they gather a huge amount of great scientists and it's part in scientific advance is fair.
*"Lieutenant Cls. SCI. Ion-IV": Cls. SCI. indicates that the hierachaical ladder of the rank is the scientific one.
*Tritalith: It's a common ore, mined in most of the asteroïds of the system.
* Cornerus : They are the civilization which colonized Lylat hundreds on milleniums ago. We don't know much about them so the main part of what shall be said in my story shall be my guessings or just pure invention.
* 5th CSF : The 5th Cornerian Space Fleet is the most developped arm of the Lylatian United Forces against Andross. It gathers thousands of divisions of capships, fighters and logistics. The mecanical hords coming from Venom are at the moment the only army which can stand up against them.
* The « Shadamars of the planet Taklys » : Shadamars are antic Corneruses which lived on Venom during the great astral depression of Solar. Its radiations modified their genome so they gain a sensitivity to an unknown form of energy, Psyosis. They were banned on Taklys because of that and were completely alone on their planet, forgotten by the lylatian history until now.
* 168th Stealth, 7th Army of Corneria : Whereas the 5th Army is a star fleet, the 7th is mostly composed by Spec. Ops teams. Amongsts these, the 168th Stealth gathers the elite of lylatian Special Agents available.
* Selacian : This phyllogenetical term refers to the family of shark spicies.
* Hooverboard : Hooverboard is the generic term for the boards featuring an anti-gravitational sustension device. In the context, it refers to a kind of floating surf board.
* Wing : A little squadron of ships.
