This is a PC I have been playing as in a D&D game that actually has silver-stag in it, too! It has been very fun. It's not often you get to play as a custom race, Large-size-category creature that has trouble fitting through labyrinth corridors (only to later Kool Aid Guy through an ancient stone wall in said labyrinth to charge in and attack the bad guy).
Glyrandaeros is a "Larethen" breed of dragon, capable of standing on two legs similar to a raptor, and he is a young adult gold dragon. Having read many fairy tales about mortal knights in faraway lands, Glyrandaeros decided he would endeavor to become one and gain the fame of a chivalrous hero. Thinking that all knights need a sword or a weapon, he "borrowed" a humongous straight sword once used by a giant and traveled far to a kingdom to work on becoming a knight. (Also knights wear clothing, so he also likes wearing a fancy hat for some reason.)
The only problem is that this kingdom he wishes to serve is very good at slaying dragons, and the knights there very much don't like them...
Glyrandaeros is a multiclass character with Fighter 1 and Cleric 8. Along with having the Life domain, the War Caster feat, and having a natural penchant to charge in and save the day, he has become a de facto tank among the knights of his adventuring party. Despite his large size he is very gentle, and he likes to heal others and bring them joy. His Neutral Good and altruistic personality has often clashed with his adoptive father's comparatively stern and martial outlook on life.
