This is the second headshot version I got done of Zekuthumar, it actually happened a bit on accident. We started with one sketch and then I was offered a second options, this one and I said we'll go for it I'll get them both! I think this is pose is equally. I'm always happy to have more artwork of my Aen-Rau. As for information Zekuthumar, she's an Azar which is the more numerous of two sub-races of Aen-rau. She's also a Wild-Type which is sorta the middling of the three subspecies. Aen-rau work a bit like Lions, in that Auxtex like Zuft are the larger, more colorful and usually protective members of the species. They are the least numerous and usually are defenders of their society. Azar, like Zeku here are your more average civilians. In Wild-Type communities they are more either roaming tribes or farming settlements the Azar hunt for food, gather materials and focus on building, care and growth of the tribe. Whereas the Auxtex are usually your boarder guardians and function as lead roles, though that is only because they are Big and Pretty which Aen-Rau are weak for. Azar usually have more natural colors to help them blend with their environments and hunt. They are also exclusively able to have scales where Auxtex are usually feathered or furred.
Wild types are not as feral living or magically gifted as the Aquatic Type (a Type is a sub-species, tech-type is the third sub species) or as modern as tech-types. But they have solid societies and are rather religiously motivated by their three gods. The Warrior, Pheonix and the Moon, Zekuthumar being a blacksmith pays homage to Pheonix and does her best to empower and embolden her god in a strong way.
