An older commission from FoxDie back in [year]! Thank you again, and apologies it took me this long to upload!
** Don't remember when this was, but I do know that it has been a consistent bit of joy in my life since its inception. Not sure if FoxDie themself just sorta moved on from doin' furry artwork or if there's another story buried somewhere deep in there that I'm not privy to (no worries! life changes, and I'm not here to pry), but I did want to make sure I kept this preserved somewhere just in the off-chance that my own files fail me at some point.
In a flash of petals and gentle flapping of a cape, the bun appears, a rose held between their teeth as they turn to the heroine. The cut of their dress, snazzy and tight in all the right places, marks them as definitely having a figure that is worth a second glance, though the eyes behind that ivory-colored mask glimmer with a hint of mischief that promises that a second visit is unlikely to happen without some sort of compelling reason. They don't say a word, but with one fluid motion the rose disappears from their muzzle and is sent careening towards the villainous figure to stop them just before they start to attack. A momentary distraction, but a necessary one to buy time.
"My work is done here," they say in a sultry tone, pulling the cape up over their form so that only the ears and hat remain behind the flourish - hiding the graceful spin and decent into the city's nightlife, away from the scene of action. There one moment, and gone the next, only the faint smell of blooming roses and a few errant petals the proof that they were ever there at all. The heroine and villain both turn to one another, blinking a bit of confusion.
The villain jabs a finger in the direction of the mysterious stranger's previous location, clearly confused and grunting a single question-mark.
The heroine's own visage is a cloud of confusion as they mutter under their breath, "... but you didn't do anything..."
