The natural organic shades of his fur make him look real and believable, which makes his eyes catch the viewer off guard. They're a cold sort of rose quartz, beautiful, but without mercy, and they make the contrast of his tongue stand out, drawing attention to it, which in turn, draws the eye toward his teeth, which just displays how much of a threat he is. You guide the eye very well, is what I mean.
