So there I was, 4 AM on a night of duty. Suddenly...!
...Nothing happens! XD
Thank God for that though! *knocks on wood* ^_^
You military folk may get a kick out of this :3

Lol, I was in the Army from 2001-2005 and definitely remember the insanely boring nights sitting behind a desk. In South Korea I did the duty all night completely by myself, and it was pretty horrible since it was more like attack of the giant bugs. I hate spiders, and a nice huge one just propped itself on my backpack on the floor next to me. And the giant moths... o,o
My last time doing the duty before I got out, which was in Fort Bragg, NC, we did a Lord of the Rings marathon during the night. We had a big screen tv and little theater room there. Good times.
I didn't know any other furries in the Army, and I didn't know I was a furry at that time either because I didn't know of the term. But I was well known in my entire unit that I slept with a stuffed orca whale, because we deployed to Kuwait and he was with me. I'd snuggle him each night on my cot in the large tent. For a time right beside the master segeant's cot... ya. Some teasing went on, but there some other's found it awesome that I had the guts to do that.
I still have that stuffed orca also, he comes camping with me and places where I don't desire to bring my larger Stitch plushie. And comes to every single con I go to. I'm a happy civilian now though, been working at a nice company for the past 5 years now. It's nice being stationary.
Anyway, your fursona is very cute, and I salute you for what it is you do. :D
