The Hybrid Experiment: A Milky Metamorphic Breakthrough!
Thank You to
LtColonelWhipper for commissioning me for this story!
It was fun to write, and I learned a little bit more about Pokemon, because confession, I've played virtually ZERO Pokemon games.
This is my second Miltank TF story so hope you all enjoy!
Pokémon have been around for many years, and every generation we learn more about them. More Pokémon are discovered every single year, and their moves have been analyzed, studied, and examined by the poke scientists to categorize each Pokémon’s skills, moves and statistics.
Why bother going to all this length? That is because Pokémon trainers from all over the globe want to become the ultimate Pokémon master. Ash Ketchum recently achieved the ultimate accomplishment by becoming the best, like no one ever was. But with him on top, time will only tell when someone will come to take his crown.
An unwise group of scientists attempted to create a clone of a legendary Pokémon called Mew and named them Mewtwo. Although Mewtwo was indeed a powerful pokemon, the aftermath was regrettable to say the least. Since then, scientists have been wary of attempting to mess with the natural progression of Pokémon.
However, a year ago, in a small town of Shoto, a new device was invented that created a massive breakthrough in the world of pokemon. It was called the Pokexpression. For the first time ever, Pokemon would be able to communicate with humans without having to learn to speak human language like Meowth or use Psychic Projections like some of the legendary pokemon use.
No one expected the pokemon to speak, and those that did expected it would take a long time before the pokemon could speak. They underestimated how quick the pokemon of Shoto could learn as it took them mere months before no longer needing the Pokexpression. Now, they can communicate just like other humans can.
In a rapid span of time, the poke scientists and the poke technicians were able to learn the psychology of pokemon along with their different personalities. It was all localized to this small town as they wanted to make sure everything was perfected, and any ethical clearances and approvals got the proper clearance. They didn’t want a repeat of what happened with Mewtwo.
Some of the Pokemon started to take an interest in the work the poke scientists and the poke technicians were performing. Pleasantly surprised by the willingness to learn, they started to train the pokemon in the jobs they performed. There was a great camaraderie that formed between the humans and Pokémon’s as they worked together to develop innovative technologies, medicines, and techniques to improve pokemon handling.
One of the newest tech items in development is called the Hybridizer. What does this device do? How about instead of this dry narration, we tune in to see the progress that’s been made.
“Charry, can you tighten those last few screws while I finish up this simulation of code?” Dr. Photor, the lead scientist of Shoto asks Charry the Charizard.
“Right on it. Who needs a screwdriver when you have claws like these!” Charry Jokes with Dr. Photor as he effortlessly tightens the last few screws and bolts of the Hybridizer. “So, I’ve been working on this device with the team these past few months, but I don’t quite understand the intricacies of the functionality. Can you summarize what this machine does?” Charry asks.
“The Hybridizer is the newest development in the field of genetics. Thanks to the openness of the databases, we have been able to collect the DNA makeup of every registered pokemon and log it in the Hybridizer. This will allow us to alter the makeup of any pokemon so that they can morph into other pokemon, or as the name suggests, merge two pokemon together. The traits, and not the pokemon themselves. We’re not amalgamating two different pokemon into one, but rather one pokemon will have DNA traits of another pokemon added to them. This will allow the Hybrid pokemon to be able to use skills that they couldn’t use before. For certain elemental hybrids, new moves might even be created as a result!” Dr. Photor explains.
“What stage are we in? The machine itself looks like it is in superb condition,” Salazzle, or as she likes to be called, Sally, another one of the Pokemon workers asked.
“This is still the simulation phase. There is no way that we would test this out on anyone until we know that it works, it is safe, and it is painless. Always remember the first rule of science, and that is safety first.” Dr. Photor explains.
“I see. Any thoughts about what hybrid combinations you were thinking of doing? Since we have DNA, couldn’t we just splice those in the Hybridizer instead of using a Pokemon for the process?” Sally asks.
“We did try that simulation to see if it was possible. Unfortunately, that method fails regardless of any variable input changes. The problem is the lack of physicality the DNA has. Not that it isn’t physical, but it appears that for the process to initiate, the DNA must first have a host to hybridize. Without a living presence present, the hybridization process will fail to materialize. Hence why we also can’t use non-living objects like a chair or table as a surrogate. It must be a living human or pokemon.”
“You mentioned this was hybridization, but you also mention complete transformation into another pokemon. So, if a Pikachu entered, it could in theory become, say, a Squirtle?” Charry asks.
“Correct. However, when they enter, its unique DNA pattern is saved into the computer. That way should something need to be reversed, or they want to revert to their original form, the dehybridization process will allow that to happen.” Dr. Photor explains.
“That’s thinking ahead. So have there been any volunteers for this project?” Charry asks.
“Not yet, but we did put a notice out for potential volunteers. We assure that they can change back at any time, they can choose what they want to become, et cetera.” Dr. Photor says.
“We’ll be on the lookout as well!” Sally says as she and Charry clock out for the day. On top of being coworkers, they were both roommates and great friends. It was a perfect arrangement.
“How about a night out on the beach? It’s the perfect place to decompress after a long workday!” Sally suggests.
“Hmmm… I don’t know about tonight. I think I’m gonna train my wings a bit. Don’t want them to get outta shape. You can still go by yourself! Wouldn’t want to take away from your experience if you still wanna go.” Charry answers.
“Dude it’s not the same going by myself. Maybe come after your flight training?” Sally asks.
“I’ll be pretty beat afterwards. Maybe some other time Sally.” Charry says as he spreads his wings and starts his training.
“That sucks. Now what to do…” Sally asks herself as she paces trying to think of how else to spend the night. That’s when she had an idea.
“Since Charry and I both worked on the Hybridizer, we could be the first ones to try it on for size. I’ll look up possible hybridizing ideas and see which ones would be the most fun.” Salazzle tells himself as he goes back to the facility and gets his pokedex.
As she left, he ran into another friend of his, Millie, a Miltank.
“Sally! Fancy seeing you here! Working late again? You really gotsa take a break you know?” Millie tells Sally.
“Well, Charry decided he wanted to do some training and I didn’t wanna go to the beach alone. So…”
“I ain’t doing nothing! How bout I go with you?” Millie asks.
“That’d be wonderful!” Sally says as he and Millie walk to the beach together. Millie was a very carefree and optimistic spirit who was very playful.
“What’s you like doing at the beach? Wanna build sand sculptures?” Millie asks with a lot of excitement in her voice.
“Sure! Anything in mind you wanted to make?” Sally asks.
“A mountain!” Millie says with a big smile. Sally looked a little confused because that sounded like just piling sand in a triangular pile, but with her scientific mind, she remembered that mountains could have multiple peaks, some caves.
“Let’s get it made!” Sally says, making Millie jump up in excitement as she hurriedly pushes a bunch of sand near where Sally was and joyfully begins throwing more on top like an excited child. Sally went to the sea to grab some water and began to pour it on the hill. It was only a few trips before Millie made the hill surprisingly large and tall. It was over ten feet high! Millie then began to do the same, but this time made hills next to the big mountain and helped pack in the spaces in between.
Charry happened to be flying over the beach when he saw the spectacle being made and had to check it out.
“Oh! Charry! Look what Sally and I are making!” Millie waved at Charry who landed in front of them.
“That’s a lot of sand! I thought you weren’t coming to the beach Sally.” Charry asked.
“Well, I ran into Millie while I was getting my pokedex and I told her about your training and how I wanted to go to the beach, and she offered to join me.” Sally answers.
“Say! Now that you’re here you can help us build our mountain! You can bring sand up top and make it even higher!” Millie suggests.
“I don’t know…” Charry ponders.
“Come on! It’ll be fun and it’d be like training! Weightlifting with a bunch of sand, and going up and down repeatedly, that’s got to be a workout somewhere!” Millie suggests.
Charry stood and thought about it for a minute. “Well, sure! Guess I’ll be staying at the beach after all!” Charry said as Millie clapped excitedly.
“Yay! I’ll roll up some sand balls for you to take up!” Millie says as she starts making big balls, more like boulders of sand for Charry.
“Wow! Didn’t know you were so enthusiastic about sand sculpting!” Charry noted seeing how excited Millie was.
“I love anything fun! Even if it’s not fun or it’s demanding work, I always try to find the fun qualities within so anything can be enjoyable! It’s just the joy of being a Miltank!” Millie says as Charry and Sally both have a light bulb go off in their head.
“Hmmm… Millie says how fun it is being a Miltank and how wonderful it is. We could investigate that lifestyle ourselves and be Miltank hybrids for the experiment.” They both simultaneously thought to themselves.
“Whatcha thinking about? What to call our sand Mountain?” Millie asks.
“Oh, nothing!” Sally says as she begins to form the mountain into something fancier.
It was about an hour that passed by until they finished their work of art.
“It’s so beautiful! I’m so happy I was able to join in!” Millie says super happy about the sculpture they made as she takes a picture of it.
“That was a lot of fun!” Sally says as she and Charry lay on the beach, a bit tired from all that building.
“Oh! I gotsa get back! Hopes to see you both around!” Millie says as she skips away, still overjoyed at the day at the beach she shared with Sally and Charry.
“Who knew sand sculpting could be so tough?” Charry asks Sally.
“I know. How does she still have so much energy?” Sally asks.
“It’s the Miltank Milk that gives her the strength. I saw the light bulb go off in your head earlier, and I think we have the same idea.” Charry tells Sally.
“How we should try and hybridize ourselves into Miltanks?” Sally asks.
“That’s my thought! I bet Millie would be delighted to have us around, and she could show us how to be more energetic.” Charry says.
“Let’s sign that form Dr. Photor posted, and we can get firsthand knowledge about being a hybrid. Who better to test it out than the ones who worked on the Hybridizer?” Sally responds.
“It’s a plan! We’ll find out what happens in a week once the simulations complete!” Charry says.
“You got it! Think it’s time to head back home don’t you think?” Sally asks.
“Definitely, I am totally beat.” Charry says as he and Sally walk back home. After a quick clean up, they plop straight to bed.
ONE WEEK LATER
It was an intense period of simulational analysis in that one week since the completion of the hybridizer 1.0. Any little thing that could go wrong was thoroughly examined and postulated. Abort safety measures were put in place to avoid any possible disasters, such as stray flies entering the hybridizer, unauthorized personnel inside the machine, equipment malfunction, save state errors, multiple living beings in one hybridization station, and thousands more potential negative outcomes were resolved during the simulation testing.
But all challenging work has its rewards as the machine got clearance for testing. Dr. Photor saw the signup sheet and saw Sally and Charry’s names as number one and number two. He was surprised that they would volunteer, but he understood their dedication to this project.
No other volunteers signed up as they were still unsure of what exactly would happen. Once Sally and Charry go through the hybridization process, there would be more confidence in others deciding to join on in.
But now, Sally and Charry were both in separate hybridization stations. The specifications were input for each of them as they will both turn into Miltank hybrids. The exact nature will still be unknown as this had never been done before, so only hypothetical drawings could give Sally and Charry an idea of what they might look like.
“All systems are a go. Registering that forms shall become that of a Miltank. Current skin/scale/fur colors shall be retained during hybridization.” Dr. Photor’s assistant reads out of the machines.
“Ready? Let’s do this!” Charry says as Dr. Photor fires up the machine.
Electricity began shooting out of the top as it powers up. The glass inside turns deep blue as Sally and Charry get scanned. Their bodies and their own DNA structure being collected before the process is set to begin.
The morphing agent was sprayed into each of their respective stations. This contained a special cocktail that consists of a mild anesthetic to prevent any pain that may arise from hybridization, the DNA of the pokemon that is to hybridize the subjects, and an absorbing agent that will help make the bloodstream of the pokemon more receptive to absorbing the new DNA.
This cocktail is sprayed and then, reacting with a special gas in the chamber, immediately vaporized and breathed in by the pokemon inside. Sally and Charry took deep breaths to get as much of this cocktail vapor as they could. The more they take in, the quicker the hybridization process will take.
Five minutes went by before the first changes started to happen. No one said this would be a rapid process. The first change that took place was the recompression of the body structure to match an appropriate height befitting a Miltank. For Charry, because of his naturally larger body, both in height and muscle, he was on the taller side, whereas Sally, not being as large, was a few inches smaller than Charry.
As much as they wanted to playfully compare themselves as the process was happening, they dared not risk unnecessary distractions. This had never been done before, so they had to trust the process implicitly.
The next thing to change for them was the weight. There is a reason Miltank is considered a tank, and that’s why their massive size serves as a substantial advantage in battle. Charry’s body began to grow out, becoming more oval shaped. His body still had a nice shade of orange and tan as he retained his old colors. Same with Sally as her body was black with little patterns of pink flames all around. The one difference that was glaringly obvious is that Sally was way skinnier than Charry, so she did not put on as much weight as he did. For a Miltank, she was quite skinny. It could be a potential advantage as she would be much faster compared to other Miltanks, but her other stats like HP, Offense and Defense might be below average as a result.
With the basic changes finished, the physical changes continued. What was first? The hands and feet of both Charry and Sally began to shift. While Miltank has hooves on both their hands and feet, the hybridization process won’t turn Charry and Sally’s hands and feet all the way. Charry’s dragon-like feet still shrunk and became as hard as a hoof, it was still shaped like his old feet. The difference being the claws on Charry’s feet were hooved. Charry’s hands also shrunk to proportions appropriate for him, which made his hands slightly larger than his feet, and fingered with hoof tips. For Sally, her feet became more like actual Miltank hooves, but her hands were much less affected. The hoof tips were a bit shorter than Charry’s and her hands retained more of its own shape.
As Miltanks have stubbier arms and legs, it’s only natural that Sally and Charry’s legs and arms would shrink in. Despite this, their mobility wouldn’t be hampered much.
The tails of Miltanks are bovine in nature, so of course Sally and Charry’s tails would be hybridized as such. For Charry, his flame tail thinned out and shortened while still retaining the flame tuft. Sally’s tail didn’t have a tuft as her tail was more snake-like. Unlike Charry’s tail, Sally retained her tail’s thickness.
Udders are a defining feature for a Miltank, and for Charry and Sally, there would be no exception. This will officially turn them Charry into a female as Sally was already a female, renaming Charry into Charia. The size of the udders began to swell to that of what is to be expected of a Miltank. Quite large and full of milk. While the milk of a Miltank is similar to that of a normal cow, Charia and Sally’s Milk will each have their own twists.
For Charia, being a fire pokemon originally, her milk will now have a little spice to it. It is not a savory type of spice like Hot Peppers or Paprika, but more of a sweet twist like Ginger and Cinnamon. Would be perfect for production and healing but using it for an attack would not have the desired effect. Sally’s milk on the other hand is quite the opposite. Salazzle is a Poison type Pokemon, as such, Sally’s milk is poisonous milk. The milk would need to be analyzed to measure its toxicity for consumption. However, as an attack item, it would be highly effective. Combat training would be needed to measure the damage done, but Sally might just have a possible secret weapon at her disposal.
Finally, the facial structure of both Charia and Sally began to shift into a more bovine structure. Miltank’s face doesn’t have as big of a muzzle as a Charizard or a Salazzle, so both of their faces began to shrink. As Sally had a smaller face, her head became a bit more spherical with two tiny horns growing above her head. Sally’s eyes however remained unchanged, maintaining their serpentine like appearance. Charia’s horns were longer, as it kept in tune with her naturally large horns. She also still had some sharp fangs for teeth, but just like Sally, her mouth would become more attuned to more vegetarian options.
Clocking in at just over an hour long, the hybridization process finally completed. The doors of the chambers unlocked as Charia and Sally took careful steps down.
“How do you both feel?” Dr. Photor asks them.
“It feels much different. My center of gravity has definitely shifted, I’ll say that much.” Sally says.
“If I do this again, maybe next time I’ll see if I can keep my wings since I didn’t even take that into consideration during the process.” Charia points out. In the rush they got from testing, Charia forgot to ask to keep her wings.
“Well, it’ll be a week before we can revert you back, or to rerun the hybridization process, but in the meantime, I brought a visitor.” Dr. Photor said as Sally and Charia look at each other confused.
“HEYYYYOOOO!” Millie comes rushing in as Sally and Charia blush. “YOU BOTH LOOK SO CUTE!” Millie yells in excitement seeing Sally and Charia as Miltanks.
“Hey, Millie, didn’t… er, expect you here! You heard what was going on?” Sally asks.
“Of course! I was so elated that you wanted to be Miltanks! Dr. Photor contacted me and wanted me to show you what it’s like to Miltank up! You’ll have lots of fun! Plus, he told me that you kept some elementality, so you got a whole new never before seen, limited time only moves!” Millie explains.
“I am quite sure my milk wouldn’t be suitable for drinking. I have a poison type, so I doubt it could be used for consumption.” Sally says, blushing from embarrassment.
“Actually, you know how elemental works right? How certain type pokemon are weak to certain attacks, resistant to others, and in some cases immune from certain attacks. Charry, I mean Charia, you could easily avoid ground type attacks with your wings, right? Well, with Poison Type Milk, it would be harmful to most pokemon, but if it were a Poison Type Pokemon, that might be a different story. Ever hear the phrase “Poison is Medicine?” Well, this may apply in this situation for you Sally.” Millie says.
“Is it safe to try out? Can we try Charia’s milk first? Oh, before any of that, how is the milking process?” Sally asks, at first concerned, but then curious the next moment.
“Follow me to the Miltank farm and I’ll show ya the ropes! And the tubes!” Millie says as she waits for Charia and Sally to get their legs working.
“Don’t worry, you will get used to your legs! You can always go on all fours if you need the extra balance!” Millie suggests.
“No thanks, I will try to stay on my legs.” Charia responds as they take little steps at a time, trying not to trip. The steps were a little tricky, and Mille had to grab Charia from almost rolling down the stairs, but they slowly but surely made it outside.
Millie was laughing as she started chasing a butterfly, a little distracted at the task at hand. “Hey! Wait up! OOF!” Sally shouts as she tries to run after Millie, only to land flat on her stomach.
“You ok Sally? I got you.” Charia says as she walks briskly towards Sally and helps her up. “Despite your size, you still seemed pretty lightweight to me. It’s because we’re strong pokemon.” Charia hypothesizes.
“For you, but I am smaller than you. Remember what the professor showed us? How size affects our stats? I was able to go faster just now, almost faster than Millie. If I had kept my balance, I could’ve easily caught up with her.” Sally responds.
Millie walked back, butterfly on her nose. “Sorry about that! I can’t resist a cute butterfly to boop! Hope you’re not too hurt, some milk will help!” Millie offers.
“That would be helpful, but how could we get milk from you out here?” Sally asks.
“Simple! Charia, grab one of my udders and squirt it into Sally’s direction. My milk is plain, so it will easily heal and energize.” Millie says.
“Ok… never, grabbed one of these before. Hope I don’t tug too hard.” Charia says, her face turning red from bashfulness as she positions herself by Millie and grabs on one of her udders. She points it angles towards Sally and squeezes. Milk squirted out of Millie and Sally was able to catch most of it in her mouth.
“That IS yummy!” Sally says happily, perking up and quickly getting to her feet. “I’m surprised how fast it worked!”
“Milk is always good for the bones, but it’s also good for your health! Miltanks really do… got milk!” Millie says as they resume walking to the Miltank farm.
“I got two special machines for you that link up to individual tanks. As your milk is unique, I wouldn't want to mix it with the others.” Millie says as she helps Sally and Charia over to a soft hay chair-pile. “Now, these machines here will suck the milk from your udder and deposit it into the tank. You will be able to make a few gallons in one hour. It will take 8 hours before your udder refills, so you don’t need constant milking. You can hook yourselves up and I will turn the machine on. We always do low as that makes the best milk.” Millie explains.
Sally and Charia hook themselves up with little issue as Millie turns on the machine. A gentle tug on each of their teats made them squirt milk into each of the tubes.
“This feels so relaxing Sally, I don’t know how else to describe it. The sound of the machine, the rhythm of the milking, it’s just, for lack of a better word, calming.” Charia observes.
“Yeah, your milk looks slightly orange while mine is slightly purplish-black.” Sally notes as Millie smiles proudly as she milks her friends.
“Help yourself to the hay! It’s yummy!” Millie offers as Sally and Charia look unsure. They had never eaten hay before, so they weren’t sure how it would taste. Charia being the brave one, grabbed a handful of hay and put it in her mouth.
“It’s okay. Not as good as a big hunk of juicy meat, but it’s fine.” Charia says as she chews on the hay. Sally tries some and has more of a positive reaction. “It’s actually pretty good, almost a little salty taste to it.”
“Glad you like it! There’s also grass which is a bit softer and sweeter, and of course plenty of fruits, veggies, and grains! Help yourself, as you never have to worry about going hungry! If it’s natural, a Miltank can eat it!” Millie eagerly points out.
For the next hour, Sally and Charia got milked at the same slow consistent pace. Just taking in the chill nature of being a milked Miltank. At the end of the hour, the machine shut off, signifying that they were sufficiently milked.
“Ok! Now it’s time to battle!” Millie announces, which surprises Sally and Charia.
“Wha, wha, what? Right after milking? When we are feeling so relaxed?” Sally asks.
“Of course! You’re more focused when you’ve just been milked! Much less pressure!” Millie tells them. “Now hurry, my sisters are waiting!”
“Sisters?” Charia asks, confused.
“Not actually related, but we treat each other like best friends and just like family!” Millie says as she pulls Charia and Sally up.
“Are you sure it’s ok? It feels strangely weird going against your friends in battle.” Charia asks.
“Oh, don’t worry! There are never any hard feelings.” One of the Miltank sisters says as she looks determined to fight.
“So, this is the fresh meat. Heard through the grapevine that you were part of that hybridization process. Whatever unique moves you have, hope they can match up with the originals.” The other Miltank sister says, looking like the boss.
“The first one is Jill, she’s like me though a bit less carefree. The second one, you may wanna worry about, she goes by Trill. Unlike us, she is a true fighter. If you wanna have a chance against her, bring your A game.” Millie advises.
Sally and Charia get in position to go against Jill and Trill.
“Let’s make it a bit fair on the newbies. How about you go first?” Trill says.
Millie goes behind Sally and Charia and tells them, “Use whatever feels natural.” Charia decides to go first. Taking a few seconds to think about what a good move would be to start with, she pieces together in her mind the Miltank moves and the Charizard moves. She knows there are also hybrid moves never seen before, but to get her opponents off guard, she was going to try a classic Miltank offensive attack and used Play Rough.
To Trill’s surprise, Charia went after Jill who was caught a little off guard. DIRECT HIT! Not critical, but it did a decent amount of damage.
“Oof. Interesting you didn’t go for Trill. Now it’s my turn!” Jill shouts as she prepares the infamous Rollout move and attacks Sally. As Sally was not as thick, her defense was not as large, and Jill landed a big hit on her.
“Damn, no wonder you’re so strong, but here’s something completely different!” Sally shouts as she unleashes a new move, Poison Stream at Trill. It didn’t appear to be very effective…
“Is that all you got? ‘Tis but a scratch!” Trill says scoffing at the puny attack as she unleashes Mega Kick, also aimed at Sally.
Sally may not be as big as the other Miltanks, but her stature allowed her to be a bit faster, and to Trill’s shock, she actually missed the attack as Sally dodged the attack.
“Size isn’t everything, Trill!” Sally shouts as Charia prepares another attack: Infernatic Headbutt and aimed it right at Trill who was trying to get back from her miss only to take a head on hit from Charia. Not only that, but she also got burned as a result.
“Trill! Let me help you!” Jill says as she uses Milk Drink to heal Trill. However, suddenly Trill tumbled backwards when she drank the milk. Turns out Poison Stream had a delayed effect. Not only was Trill on fire, but now she suffered from double poison damage. Trill fought hard to get up, but the combined status effects were too much for her as she begrudgingly tapped out before she could faint.
Millie rushed over to give her the cures for the status ailments and got her back to full health. However, she took her to the sidelines as she withdrew from the fight.
Jill was shocked, these Miltank hybrids were on a whole new level than she and Trill were. Charia decided to help Sally out by feeding her her milk using Spicy Drink. This didn’t heal any HP, but it got Sally fired up and her offense shot up by thirty!
The only way Jill stood a chance was to take out them and win was to KO Sally before she could get an attack in. She had no choice but to use her most powerful move that would not only do considerable damage but would hit BOTH. High Horsepower shocks the ground with insane intensity as both Charia and Sally get knocked back.
Charia took some damage, but Sally was hanging on by a thread. However, Sally still had one more attack in the bank. With that big offensive boost, Sally used her ultimate attack Dark Flamethrower which shot black flames right at Jill and shot her high in the air and ultimately having her land right on her stomach, completely knocked out.
“We did it Sally!” Charia says hugging Sally as Millie revives Jill.
“That was a heck of a battle Charia! These gals were quite a challenge!” Sally says.
“Well played rookies. We’ll try out some hybridization and give you a taste of your own medicine.” Trill sternly promises, feeling the competitive spirit show.
“Mad respect for you two! Maybe next time we meet it will be more casual!” Jill says as she and Trill head back to their stalls in a separate barn.
The sun was beginning to set on a very transformative day for the Miltanks. What would be done with the last bits of sunlight?
“I’m pretty beat! As much as I wanna go out, I just wanna pass out in the hay and go nighty night.” Sally says, not having recovered yet from battle.
“As am I, but with these soft bodies, we should be all cozy in there.” Charia says.
“I be sleepy too! That was a lot of milking, transforming, and battling in one day! All are good stuff, but primarily, nothing ever beats a good night’s sleep!” Millie says.
“You’re not gonna go out, Miss Social?” Sally asks.
“Nah, not tonight. Even I can skip a night of painting the town red.” Millie says.
“Well, this hybridization experiment appears to have been an enormous success. I love being a Miltank hybrid, but I am unsure if I wanna change back.” Sally admits.
“Same. But the important thing is we can always change back! I enjoy getting to spend more time with you and Millie!” Charia says which made Millie bashfully blush.
“You charmer you! Well, Imma bout to hit the hay! Have a good night y’all!” Millie says as she retires to her stall, leaving Charia and Sally out in the fresh air.
“How about we just stay outside and look at the stars? It is supposed to be a clear night!” Sally suggests.
“That would be fun! Almost like a little campout! I can make the fire!” Charia suggests as she lights a piece of wood nearby on fire as Sally begins making a tiny fire pit.
“Toasty warm!” Sally remarks as they lay down on the lush grass as they look at the sky.
“What a day it’s been!” Charia says.
“Well, my friend, there is plenty more to come tomorrow! Not to mention all this week!” Sally says.
As we leave our Miltank hybrids to rest for the evening, we bid you farewell until next time where more pokemon adventures lie ahead!
THE END

It was fun to write, and I learned a little bit more about Pokemon, because confession, I've played virtually ZERO Pokemon games.
