On this December evening, Mathis Saller, off-duty for the holidays and currently living by himself, having set up and decorated his tree and eaten a nutritious, hearty dinner, relaxes by putting on a warm bathrobe, sitting down, opening up and reading his Bible that was given to him as a lamb by his mother (the ESV/English Standard Version, Red Letter Edition also including some paintings and photographs) to refresh his heart and spirit, whilst Christmas music on a nearby radio plays. Since it's near that wonderful Christmas Day, he decides to read the book of Luke before he hits the hay. While he does feel lonely from time to time because of self-confidence issues and struggling with social interaction due to having autism, and his anxiety about romantic relationships despite his desire to one day meet a woman, be a best friend to her, and be a caring, loving husband to, Mathis doesn't feel truly alone nor like a little lost lamb as he knows that the Good Shepherd always watches over and cares for him, even if he doesn't always understand His mysterious ways. When Christmas comes, he'll go visit his parents, siblings and relatives like he always does, and he hopes their Christmas will be merry too.
