The lead story of Supermouse #9 --- https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=66194 --- has on page 5 a colony of ants that get gigantified by way of supercheese. I thought the first panel of that, with the giant ant queen, looked more like a mouse turning into an ant (or maybe vice-versa) and chose to draw that instead. As you can see, it's referenced to the giant ant, but I made it my own-ish.
