Now see that little human being loomed over by that giant cyber snake? That's him when he was human..until his unfortunate encounter with that very snake.

This giant snake is Dar'Enn, a titanic armored black serpent with a body & tail that seemingly has no end. His right eye is yellow, while his left eye is purple. He can summon up to four free-floating claws for him to use.

According to  utopiax, "Dar'Enn in Cipherian Realms lore is what is called a "World Engine", which is similar to Pokémon's Major Legendaries in concept. They govern over major world concepts like Time, Space, Life, Death, Order & Creation. Or in the case of Dar'Enn, Chaos & Destruction.

The indication of someone being a World Engine is an embedded shape with the appearance of a pitch-black-tinted three-sided diamond visible, covering the majority of the entity's chest. Inside said diamond is the neon silhouettes of components of either a car gearbox or a mechanical clock. The color of the neon silhouettes is based on if they are either a World Engine of Cipher (Rainbow) or Chaos (Yellow & Purple).

However, due to Dar'Enn's infinite serpentine anatomy, the glass-like shape will instead be like the blade of a broadsword that begins at the start of his throat." (which is pretty much what you see going on at his throat).

Also, yes, those symbols are from Bakugan, particularly, the original series, so...I guess this is kinda, sorta, Bakugan-related???
