Interesting plot. So, there have to be a real fox Kettu, who is lost somewhere? What happened with him? Of course, Kettu likes adventures and has vivid imagination, so mother-fox not surprised to hear he is (pretending) a human boy now.
* He could be just have adventures in town.
* Or, he can return home after some quest
* Or, he can even pick the human potion. But decided not to drink it.

Personally, if i had the choice, i'd go with rabbit. I like coffee with a hazelnut flavor, but i'm not a nutty fan! š
I don't know why, but rabbits look tastier! My Dad also actually had rabbit growing up & liked it!

i've seen more Wolf Documentarys than Foxes, i guess for the smaller Fox it would be.
I've seen them "pluck" fur off their prey before eating it, it's funny to watch!
Got to be careful of those tiny bones though!
