Claudia's childhood was less then ideal, with one parent dead, and another who was at best, absent. Throwing herself into her studies, Claudia would discover parts about herself as teenager, and dive into the occult in college. Finding herself among likeminded people, she decided to stay at Starkwall University, at the behest of her mentor, Professor Nadia Alighieri. The angelic snow leopard would enjoy her teaching and research post, and eventually become Nadia's successor as Dean of Magic.

Nadia, however has other hobbies, she and her brother are founding members of the Order of the Bronze Sword, Starkwall's largest Shumundai cult. The cult seeks academics, artists, craftsmen, and likeminded idealists who aim to improve the world as they will it while improving their craft. The cult and their rituals are very secretive.

Claudia herself is a warm woman, with a love of books, magic, leaning, and teaching others. She does have a somewhat kinky streak and it's no secret she's rather open minded about relationships. Her favoured students are her mentor's children. she hopes to bring Lucy and garcian back into her classrooms, and encouraging Oscar.
