Hoo wow! It's been 1 full year since I decided to go ahead and try out being Owlnard. I just got so into Berdly last September/October with Deltarune, and then Blathers after the Animal Crossing DLC - I loved roleplaying Blathers a lot, and didn't want to do like I did with Oxnard where I make him all horny and out of character, so, being my own little owl sounded just right. nvn I did have some art of myself as an owl from April 2019, but I only goofed around with that a bit. This was definitely the start of something new, and lots of new feelings too! I was worried about Oxnard and my hamster side, or if this bird thing would just be a few months. And I don't know! But I can balance being both. Oxnard is really more who I am, and Owlnard or Blathers are pretty different from me, maybe an ideal self? Either way, I enjoy them a lot. nvn
So, my owliversary is just knowing it's been one full year of feathery fun. I'm sure curious what I'll feel about it all in another year! I do get very obsessed with things, maybe something else will take over, hoo knows! We shall see.
I have another picture in mind to do, since I've made so many fun bird friends this last year... so, hopefully I can do that soon enough~!
Funny enough, it's another anniversary - I've been on FurAffinity for 17 years now! Starting in 2015. I've never really remembered to celebrate it. I just remember it was another art site lots of furries were flocking to. So, at least no one has to worry about me being too young when I can use FurAffinity or even Deviantart as IDs. nvn Welp, thanks for letting me blather on here~

Same art from yesterday but colored! Thinner lines with some pencil look to it, and some water-colory shading - Owlnard is very cheery in a pink vest, giving a sort of sideways peace sign with a little white heart floating above his wing - he usually looks tired but here he's very perky and happy. The background is gray with faint rainbowy colors, and white watercolor that makes it look slightly metallic!
