My newest baby, Chiku, a Brown Necked Poicephalus Parrot (or, to save a few breaths, a Cape Parrot). Poicephalus literally means 'big head', as the poicephalus species of parrot all have large heads for their body (Senegals and Meyer's parrots are examples). She is 3 years old and I was lucky enough to get my hands on such a rare bird. She is absolutely adorable and sweet and is an incredible flier. More pictures will comes of her soon once she settles in here.

Haha its ok. They are very closely related to senegals, except these guys are around the size of an Amazon. They are just as sweet as Senegals (if not sweeter), as well. I love her to death. She's still settling in so she's nervous but she's making progress by the day. I'll post a picture of myself with her as a size reference at some point. They really look smaller than they are in pictures.
