After brushing Emily, and seeing that she was dozing a bit, Esteban put the brush aside and leaned back, resting his head on the soft body of the forest foxtaur. Crossing his arms, he sighed as he looked up at the ceiling. Emily came out of her lethargy when she felt Esteban's pressure on her.

"Why do you like to rest your head on my body?" She asked herself at the curious position of the human.
"Oh! I'm sorry…I didn't mean to upset you Emily”
"Nope! You don't bother me Esteban. On the contrary, I like it” replied the female with a smile.
“Uff… The reason is very simple. I never had a lap to rest on as a kid. And having reached Chakona, I began to lie in the same way on my friend Vroeg. And I discovered that by doing it, my thoughts and my pain calmed down. Vroeg found it strange at first, but then he too got used to it. And in this way, I could relax… Eh… Well, now with Lilethe and Doren I do the same. Your fur is so soft Emily… Thank you for allowing me to be here.”

The forest foxtaur was thoughtful for a moment, after which, she exclaimed.

"Hmmm... If you want to relax, then come with me!"

Esteban, surprised, got up and allowed himself to be led by Emily, who, taking her hand, led him out of the house. After leaving, both of them stopped in front of the large flower garden that the female had cultivated for years.

"Can you smell them? They are often like little nurses, capable of curing any kind of pain, if you believe in it”. Said the foxtaur excitedly.

“It's a beautiful garden” Esteban commented impressed. Emily took his hand again and led him into a small clearing amidst the flowers. They both sat on the floor and she made the boy settle down resting his back against her soft chest. Then she clasped him in her arms and with a slight whisper she said:

“Feel the fragrance of flowers. Feel how they purify your being”

Little by little, Esteban began to relax, feeling a balm of joy in his heart. Emily whispered soft phrases in his ear, while the boy closed his eyes once more. Taking a deep breath, he soon became aware of the warmth of the tears, rolling down his cheeks.
