Sometimes, all a gryphon wants to do is unfold his wings and soar upon the thermals of the open sky. Even though he spends most of his time on the ground, Alexander was still a gryphon, and therefore he still liked to stretch his wings from time-to-time. No obligations, no pressures, and no thoughts besides the freedom of the sky. Of course, it only lasts so long before one had to return to the earth and pick back up the threads of life and all the stresses that come with it. But, for a time at least, one could truly be free.

This wonderful piece of art was won in a raffle from  orionfell, and I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out!
