Wel, here it is, an idea I was having trouble putting into a story (stupid muse being on holiday). The story behind this is...well...Sharon got an idea, went out and bought some uncolored christmas lights, got out the special air compressor Conall had gotten her for christmas and...well, as you can see they decided to have their own ball drop instead of watching the one on TV. Both, however, think this was was a lot more fun, if perhaps a little chillier.
Quite honestly, with my artistic skill, this is the best I can really do, which honestly turned out better than I'd thougt. There's more things I'd wanted to do (like how Sharon's leg seems to be missing; we'll just say it stretched out flat with the inflation to ball), but I just reached a point with my artistic skills where trying to do much more would have only made it look worse, for I wouldn't know how to do it in the least bit right. Still, as much as I berate myself about art, this was an idea that I just couldn't pass up, and with a proper story not coming to me, I just had to do it visually.
While I still have about seven hours before I leave the house for a new years party, I figured I'd post it now because, like I said, it's as good as I'm going to see it, and it'd make more sense for everyone else to see it on new years eve before they went to their own parties.
Finally, Happy New Year everyone! May it be productive, fulfilling, and a chapter in your life worth looking back on fondly.
Disclaimer: Not all of this was freehand. Four different images were essentially traced to get the linework Conall (head, upper body, legs, and boots are from four seperate pictures) and the outline line work for Sharon is also admittedly traced from a google image. The composition, however, is completely my own, as is the the coloring and the lion's share of the work. Just thought I'd inform you all.

Thanks. Using Dodge and Burn actually worked out rather well for shading, so it came out better than I'd anticipated. Also, to be honest, there's some heavy reference/tracing from about 5 or 6 different images found through google images. I should probably note that in the description.
