In this world of talent and skill, speed is usually the only considered path to success. Many will argue, complain, and fight over how fast a product is created.

Some people attribute the quality above the speed and say the wait is worth the delayed gratification. Many find that this can lead to false promises and stolen money.

I typically don’t mind waiting for a masterpiece to be made for me. I have my limits to willpower and generosity as any consumer. We have all been lied to or found out the artist ran away from responsibility.

BUT! Nothing gives me more faith in artists than a simple update on what is going on with their life.

Everyone needs to remember there is a human behind that commission. Creating art isn’t a skill that is equitable to exact deadlines and the creator must use their very being to finish the product. Mood, health, finances, life issues, and sin attack the world of the drawer. Letting me know how you are and where you are with your orders will enrich the experience.

I appreciate all of you who contact me through the shadows of doubt just to say. “I didn’t forget about you. Life is tough. Thank you for being patient with me.”
