There was a time, albeit a SHORT time, where Karl let her be the one to test the Soldats along with the Lycans.
I say a SHORT time because he realized pretty damn quickly that she hated them enough to not even give the good ones a chance, tearing them apart almost instantly.
While she isn't allowed to 'test' them anymore, he will let her go ham on models that don't meet his own expectations. Sometimes he even saves them for when she's REALLY pissed, so she can go after them and NOT him.

But sometimes, he might join in to fight a quick round against her because either he's bored, or she isn't as calm as she should be after tearing apart a group of useless Soldats.
He has his ways of calming her down, and sometimes it ends up just being some good fun!
