Manchester, as New England cities go, is not very old. This may very well be the oldest gravestone in town. The next oldest appears to be one from 1799 in a private family plot.
Valley Cemetery was begun in 1831. However, there are >5 stones that predate the yard, and this is the earliest by far.
Top photo is a closeup from my visit this past July. The bottom (superior, imo) photo was taken in 2009 by one Fred Saar.
