this year has been a bust for breeding the phesants .
whilst plenty of eggs had been laid the weather conditions were not favorable
as well as all of my hens being first year birds. so no chicks./
but its not all a loss,
i've found something to do with the cocks dropped feathers from the end of season hard molt.
so i've been making these hat pins / broaches with them.
i think the've turned out all right
