Several days ago, the local weather station detected an unusual radar pattern on their display. This indicates there is something large above the swamp where the unusual phenomenon takes place. A large, greenish, and thick cloud rises from the mangrove swamp, according to visual observation. Sending police there would be risky, so they contact the individuals that are tasked specifically for this type of investigation.

Both Wolfgirl and Razira dressed in their favourite outfits. The white-fur werewolf wears her usual metal chest plate, fit blue pants, and no footwear, while her partner, who thinks they would face a swamp monster there, has already worn her heavy and protective full suit minutes earlier.

Upon arriving in the swamp, they both noticed that their walking pace was slowing with each step. They are already aware that they are walking in shin-deep mud, but much to wolfgirl's surprise, she is unable to pull her leg without multiple attempts and considerable effort.

Her boots appear to create a vacuum under the sole, which, when lifted up, pulls her boot back into the swamp. Wolfgirl's boots are designed such that they will protect her feet from getting wet with water and mud, not for crossing a deep mudhole.

Razira, on the other hand, has an advantage because, even though her lower legs are soiled with mud, she can still move around easily. But that doesn't stop her from looking back at her trapped partner and laughing at her predicament.
