"I'd always been impatient with surprises. If I detected even a hint of surprise, I would be snooping. Especially with my presents around birthdays and Christmas. Needless to say, friends and family aren't exactly thrilled about my tendency to ruin surprises, so when I saw a big box under the tree with a label: Do not open before Christmas! signed by 'Santa', I knew it was meant for me. It's only a few nights before Christmas, I thought, so what would be the harm if I just took a little peek? Little did I know, Santa had an interesting way of teaching me a lesson."
