Dee's totally rad Pokémon costume party 10
Dee has had enough with this rule-breaking party crasher! Once again he bodily shoves poor Arceus around, complaining that his adorable Pokémon party theme has been ruined! RUINED! It was PERFECT!
But, uh oh, that was the last straw that pushes Arceus over the edge. Dee tries to backpeddle quick but it's too late. Arceus has been trying to bottle up his anger all night long, but this is IT! Here they are, stepping in on his domain and modifying Pokémon designs left and right! Sure, it's just costumes, but Arceus is a (very) old peep who doesn't quite have a firm grasp on kids these aeons and their "house parties". For him, they're playing god, and they want to kick HIM out of the house while they do it!
Well, if they WANT to be Pokémon, that's what he'll GIVE them! Udders and all! Suddenly, attributes start melting away like droplets of water as they become transformed, as a big swirling vortex of wind starts sweeping all the surprised party guests into a portal to a far-off world. Where are they going to end up…? It's a Mystery! 🤔
Around the border of the house, there's a sound akin to a box of wineglasses falling onto an electric fence, as all of Dee's protection charms fizzle out all at once as Arceus' divine energy punches through them.

Gee! That was quite a complex page! At first, I was like "oh don't worry you'll be able to bash this one out quick, right?" But then I felt compelled to throw a lot of peeps in there, growing more and more detail, until it ended up as (almost) everyone, after a lot of revisions… 😅

Hehe, thanks! 🥰 I had the idea in my head for a big swirl, and the first sketch ended up sketching every peep but seemed cluttered and not quite right, so I tried a do-over with an attempt to "maybe have less detail (and people) so it won't be too big of a time-sink"… but then as I re-did a new layout it became a time-sink anyway because I didn't wanna leave peeps out… and so it became this fun (but complicated) big scene again! 😄 Also yeah I used that last group as a bit of a ref sheet to keep track of all the peeps (loosely, there is some fudging of spots 😛)
That one may or may not be canon, it was more of a few concept sketches rather than a proper fleshed-out story.
Although, I also said that about Kree's other accident involving costume-based TFs with the Pirahna Plant TF accident, and he's sorta become a basically-canon addition to their backyard garden now… so… figuring out story canon is hard 😅

Initially, he thought Arceus was just a regular behaving house guest, and even after finding out he's the real thing he still had his overconfident assumption that a party guest wouldn't actually do anything drastic. Which he was sort of right about… Arceus did initially try to hold everything in and behave like a good house guest… but Dee just kept winding him up and dragged this wrath out of him with all that constant pestering… 😛
When he hears the impending intent in Arceus' rant that shows he's pushed Arceus too far Dee tries to back-peddle out of it, but it was far too late to apologise and back down by then… 😝

Actually, are there higher-resolution versions of this comic available elsewhere? I kinda would like to look at 'em, given the sheer amount of stuff going on in these.
(And then I'd get a bigger Udderpard to look at~)

Thanks! I've been experimenting with shotgunning a whole bunch of pages with this one, and parts of it were just made up on the fly seeing how far I could go with challenging myself with new Poké-shapes and how many details I can handle in one go.
I don't have it exported from the source files, but I guess I do technically have these in 4x resolution (3200x4400) due to trying to avoid obsessing over every tiny pixel when I zoom in too close to see the little imperfections… (it doesn't always work, sometimes I zoom in…). So I suppose there is a bit of hidden detail hiding away on these pages, along with hidden mistakes… 😆
So yeah, they're around, but not exported into images atm, I suppose…? 🤔

Oh my god you're just like me. I had to slowly ween myself off of resolution zooms, trying to force myself to zoom less and less as I worked on different art to avoid the exact same obsessiveness.
That's fair if you don't want to share the big ones and observe tiny imperfections! I'm just a dork who likes that Liepard too much.
