If you recall, the citizens of the Crystal Moon kingdom have their own beliefs about what the moon represents, in that they view it as a symbol of beauty and fortune. While this is very understandable given the kingdom’s history; the belief is further proven by the king’s adoption of Arimyst, due to her being found on the night of a full moon and her admittedly abnormal appearance that seemed to mimic the celestial body. The belief that the moon brought fortune was shown further by Arimyst’s unique ability to create crystal and polished gems. However, while fortune and wealth are indeed nice to have, the citizens had no idea they would also be receiving another promising ruler that would grace their home with equal measures of beauty and protection!

Having defended her kingdom’s prized treasure for many years; it should come as no surprise that Arimyst’s ability to craft crystal would become the perfect allegory for her once she takes the throne: in that she will be beautiful representation of fortune all the while providing a defense that few can hope to pierce. Similar to her father, Arimyst wants nothing more than to protect her kingdom, and due to her abilities, she can do so with ease. However, Arimyst wishes to showcase not just the power of her kingdom, but its splendor as well; wanting it to have a defense that instills hopelessness in her enemies and brilliance that inspires pride within its citizens. In fact, Arimyst thinks of her kingdom as something of a hidden treasure in and of itself; and as such its more determined to protect it, like a dragoness would protect her hoard. Like the jewels she favors, Arimyst will help the Crystal Moon kingdom by providing it with unparallel allure and unmatched protection; allowing it to go beyond a small kingdom to a sprawling empire some day! While still somewhat uncertain, it can’t be argued that Arimyst will strive to make that dream a reality, for the sake of her people and the monarchs who came before her! *TRIVIA: Originally, Arimyst was going to have crystal powers along with ice powers; however, the idea was later changed due to various gems needing to super-heated in order to get their polished look. As such, Arimyst was given the ability to create crystals and gems in tandem with being able to breath fire.
