A fursona reference for Willow (She/Her) (the little goblin previously named 'Goblin April') as a Sugar Glider (a very small species of 'flying' possum) by the artist
Kiri-Anko who is a dear friend and a wonderful person!
Willow here is 3ft tall, very light and full of energy, good cheer and love. her prehensile tail serves as something of a third arm and her flap like wings allow her to glide short distances, though mostly they just help her avoid getting hurt when falling off things that most people can just easily jump down from.
Though her wings are super stretchy and can be pulled in to allow her to wear normal clothing, she prefers stilted dresses ponchos which give her room to glide.
Her hands and feet, being fur less and very strong (at least compared to her otherwise fragile build) gives her the ability to climb and hold tightly, perfect for someone who adores clinging tightly to her friends when not just being carried.
While delighted with this furry form, she still considers herself a goblin first and foremost, just enjoying having a furry option for transformations and time spent with anthro loving friends.
And the reason I am writing at least part of this like she's an actual person, is because she is. Or well, she's an alter. My alter. One of two. I have dissociative identity disorder and have been working with a couple of artist friends to make art/fursonas for Willow and Kat my other alter so that they feel represented and respected as genuine people, which they are. DID is NOT like schizophrenia, it is not delusional or treatable, it is, at least in this form (it has multiple forms it develops in) a permanent partitioning of the brain into distinct, largely independent personalities which come usually from some form of trauma which causes the mind to effectively partisan parts of itself off to protect itself (like a ship sealing off flooded compartments to avoid sinking) which then grow and self define working from whatever base line existed at the original splitting point. At least from what I understand, I am still learning all of this myself. Basically just... Its allot. But long and short is Willow here represents one of the three and was designed by her working with Anko.

RIGHT!? I like it honestly even more then the main one, its so perfect!
I actually had another version with more natural colors, brown and tan, that I also really liked, but I got this for Willow and she REALLY liked this green version so that's what we went with. Plus I think the little green mini version is even cuter then the natural one. Heh
