Bastemon's Ultimate Technique - ZMT62
*THERE IS A STORY BELOW THE DESCRIPTION*
I was recently reacquainted with Bastemon and how much I just love the idea of her/her design.
I haven't been keeping up with Digimon at all. I watched the first and second series and that's it, really. Yet it was something I liked a lot while I was quite younger and being introduced to Bastemon, a belly dancing hypnotic vampiric cat girl, was something that I enjoyed very much. In a recent series, Digimon Ghost Game, they finally made an episode where she uses her mesmerizing baladi to essentially enslave others. It's somewhat benign, but it gave me the Bastemon craving again and I wanted to write another take on the episode itself.
Showing it to a few friends and artist (the episode and custom gifs made from it), my friend ZMT62 fell for her charms as well and offered to draw her...and this is the result. The leopard-spotted pantaloons, the twin tails, her jewelry, a lot of her design is identical as they took inspiration from a certain half-genie for the pose and idea on this illustration (Shantae, if you must know. Pirate's Curse, if you *really* need to know). It's a splendid pic and makes it all the easier to suggest supporting them through their Patreon: www.patreon.com/ZMT62/posts

THE FELINE GODDESS UTOPIA
Kamishi wanted nothing more than those strays to shut up.
Their constant meowing and bizarre hissing at night had become nothing more than a nuisance. The neighborhood did certainly have a very small problem with cats roaming about, a mere handful of them occasionally rummaging through trash to feed. He never thought much of it, as urban areas was known to have a few semi-wild animals, yet now their numbers had risen and they were getting much more obvious with their presence. Scratching newspapers, thrashing through garbage bin and being noisy as heck, he was usually a patient man yet now enough was enough as he wouldn't wait for them to just move on. Going to his apartment's balcony, he opened up and looked below from the first floor of that duplex he lived in as he wanted to see those dastardly felines up to their shenanigans and he did see them.
But he saw her too.
She was like a spirit, an eerie glow around her of pink energy that made her radiate. She was ethereal, a ghost though not hard to spot or even see and what he saw made her seem gorgeous. She was unreal, with her feline ears, her long red hair, her thick legs draped in leopard spot pantaloons, her huge clawed hands and feet, her twin-tails and her belly dancer aesthetic. The veil, the revealing top, the massive amount of jewelry, it was all there as for a brief moment he forgot all about the irritation he felt in favor of awe. To say she was sexy felt reductive, yet not entirely removed from the truth as her curves were sublime, from her wide hips to her sizeable chest. She looked at the cats as if she agreed with their actions, watching over them as they looked almost feral, yet devoted to her too. Kamishi realized soon enough that this was a rather surreal vision as he looked around to notice others observing the scene, uncertain of whether it was tethered in reality or no, yet they all seemed either disturbed, fascinated or a little bit of both. Nevertheless, their reaction confirmed that this was no dream or nightmare, but something steeped in facts.
“Very good job, my faithful and wonderful followers~” the cat woman went on to say, seemingly pleased with them making a whole mess and causing trouble. If she was but a vandal or had other intents, Kamishi would not know as she smirked beneath her veil, went on to lift her slender arms and rather huge hands as she went on to gyrate her hips in a way that very confirmed the belly dancer angle. She was nimble, impressively flexible as she went very far and bent her lower back, cocked one hip in order to reach the apex length and then rotated with no difficulty, creating momentum. Her jewelry, all the gold she wore went on to glimmer under the feeble glow of the street light, a makeshift spotlight for her performance as she said something loud enough for everyone to hear and yet without shouting, without breaking the grace she radiated almost effortlessly. “Helter Skelter~”
By then her arms extended and she summoned a veil from the void, all pink and dazzling as it latched onto her claws and granted her an extra air of mysticism and exotic splendor. Kamishi couldn't take her eyes off of her right now, no one could in fact and she knew. That smirk turned into a soft yet mischievous grin as she twirled and then rolled her belly as the sight of everyone went on to zoom-in, a magical and incomprehensible effect that none dared to truly question or reject. To see the softness of her belly, the slight tan of her flesh where fur could not be found was a delight as Kamishi and all the other neighbors were enchanted by her allure, her magnetic and charming pull keeping them firmly interested as her cat cohort kept on meowing and causing a ruckus, though none who looked at her even noticed. They were too seduced, soon-to-be hypnotized as the world revolved around her for the time being and there was no opposition to that.
More windows were opened, curious as to why other neighbors had their light open or were downright outside their own home, they joined in and soon understood why. The feline woman of utter mystery and delight went on to swoosh the air with her hips, going for figure-eights, hip drops and shimmies as she moved forward and backward, occasionally twirling to give everyone a good angle on her improvised though nonetheless intoxicating dance. She leaned her lower back and went for large swing of her shoulder and arms, the veil trailing as if to act as a net to catch gazes, a sound strategy given the results it yielded. Soon, a mere half-dozen became an actual one, then more as people of all age were woken up by the sound as none realized a sordid truth: they were clapping as if on cue to an unheard music. It caused even more noise pollution, which made it so their ranks were rising until she was seemingly satisfied and then she did the one thing none of them desired: she began to leave. Her steps were moving forward, toward an unknown goal and yet none were ready to let her go, to cease watching the mesmerizing spectacle. She glanced backward and without missing a beat she lifted one hand above the veil and then beckoned for them to come. An invitation but also a command that they were all too ready to carry.
Thus did they all leave their home in an orderly fashion, all dazzled by the sumptuous spirit that was wooing them with her sublime self. It was easy to fall for her and so they did as the cats around them kept them in check, in line and they felt a kinship with the performer whose steps they followed. All tried their best to keep her in their sight as Kamishi even let someone he didn't know pass him by, a smaller woman who eyed this spirit with such awe, as if she were a goddess. No discrimination, only cooperation so as to watch the dancing cat-woman as her veil and her long hair swooshed in a way that felt as if they were caressing their face with soft wind and her own scent. They kept making the same sound, clapping while the cats were meowing in a way that seemed like singing, a melody more like a cacophony and yet still did she dance to the beat with utter perfection. She bumped her hips, lifted them while her arms were above her head before she then descended with a few vertical figure-eights that turned into waist gyration. She said nothing, yet they knew that they were under her spell and they loved her for it. Bedazzled, ensorcelled, this ghost of feline traits had them under her thrall.
Soon enough, they reached their destination, a park meant to connect a few neighborhoods, large enough for such a gathering as she then went on to leap and stand tall upon some stone pedestal, one where the names of those who had built and paid for this venue were written. Yet those were of little to no interest now as the spectators of those awe-inducing motions were all under her control, fallen to her power as they smiled, showcasing spiral eyes and even purred as if overtaken by her aura and unique characteristics. This was her triumph and they felt as if she shared it with generous glee as by now she could stand on the same spot and then spin her hips in circle again before then stopping and doing the same with her chest as she crossed her clawed hands above her head and made them fall for her even further. Entranced, enslaved, they were docile to a fault as everyone was ready to hear gospel either through the language of dancing or through words, yet what they heard instead was this.
“This is Bastemon. She's got them all under her spell,” a young man, barely a teen, went on to say as if trying to warn them yet they were more annoyed than helped right now. The one whose name they now knew as Bastemon seemed annoyed, her dance interrupted by such rude guests as some among the crowd would recognize them as a few young ones who saved the say and solved mysteries on occasion, though Kamishi didn't and none were able to recollect much of anything save the dance they witnessed and now adored more than anything. “We've got to help them and that means defeating her!”
None here could really understand what was going on, Kamishi least of all as he had been enchanted for longer than he even knew. He felt no fatigue, no notion of time as he could only lock his gaze upon the divine Bastemon much like everyone else. She looked cross, looking at those miscreants as if they were gnats as they said names that made little to no sense to anyone. Yet Bastemon fought apparitions as she dodged and even hit a few things that none could spot...and did so with such agility and skills that everyone was in awe. They were rooting for her, all too dazzled and loving toward the one who was now haunting their thoughts. Yet as she turned and occupied more space, they all instinctively went on to grant her enough of the park itself as she was centered while her foes were surrounded. None would disrupt such a grant ceremony without paying the price as Kamishi was at the front line, able to see everything. Thus did Bastemon smirk and then went toward her foe while using another technique.
“Vampire Dance~” she said as some pink mist erupted from her body, covering the ground as she went on to dance again, thought it was almost aggressive in its speed. She gyrated her waist and lifted her hips before descending them quickly, two kind of loops as the mist went on to spread while her arms were lifted. No longer wielding that veil of hers, not since the fight had started, she then chuckled softly before then going closer to her prey and then a kind of sparkling light went on to emerge from empty air as she feasted upon some unknown energy. “Now fight for me~”
Whoever this invisible opponent was, they obeyed as was their duty. Kamishi still saw it all and yet couldn't understand anything, yet she went on to move, dodge and perform this dance a few more times as everyone gazed at her, further enthralled by her motions as those who could witness her were definitely charmed in ways that could not be reversed. Bastemon would be anchored in their dreams, in their fantasies as she then went on to command more and more until the young teens themselves were utterly vanquished, falling upon their knees with spirals in their eyes, their mouth agape as if completely in awe of the opponent they tried to defeat without any success.
“Such a silly notion, but I'm glad you saw the light. Cats and myself are meant to be worshiped~” Bastemon said as she grasped the chin of one of those rebel and then she performed the same dance, the mist emerging anew as he took it in and then saw his smile turn into an immense grin. Then, without further ado, she whispered something and then he went on to kiss her belly, which made it so she sucked his energy as he felt weak, near-limp yet somewhat staying conscious, tethered to her beauty and power. “You will all belong to a much, much better world. All I need is your devotion, your adoration...and your delicious energy~”
As if on cue, everyone including Kamishi went on to fall to their knees as Bastemon looked at the scene and smirked in triumph and delight. All slaves, all oppressors to her idea that would join her, fight for her, believe in what she did as she got closer to the end of this large gathering, beginning on the outer edge as if to travel in a spiral toward the center. There she began to feed on energy as she emerged her sublime Vampire Dance as the mist spread, the hint of its sugary and addictive scent teasing nearby nostrils, even from those afar like Kamishi. The battle had made them smell its delectable aroma, yet now that they knew it would serve a higher purpose, it made it so everyone felt immensely eager for it to happen to them immediately. After witnessing her opponents, both visible and invisible, getting drained and leaving with blissful expressions, they were all too aroused and excited to bother resisting.
One after another did they kiss that midriff, a smack of their lips acting as a reward and as a symbol of submission to Bastemon. Kamishi couldn't wait, yet he had to nevertheless as he drowned in fresh memories of the dance, flooding his brain with excitement and nostalgia. Events from prior could not even manifest themselves, as if unimportant before discovering the being that would change his life. The scent came nearer and nearer, time stretching out until eventually she stood tall before her, her jewelry all the more radiant and her beauty all the more imposing. She moved her waist forward and immediately did Kamishi feel his lips and body tremble as the mist was just around him, dizzying him as he latched onto her midriff flesh with hunger and reverence. He never noticed she had some tattoo upon her midsection, a red spot that he couldn't even focus on as he offered himself to her with a kiss on her navel and then his energy was drained...and nothing could have prepared him for that.
It was as if the past and his own potential were taken from him. An electric massage, a warmth that extended from the tip of his toes to his cranium before being released through dust. Her midriff took it but so did her lips, swallowing whatever he could be so that she could shape it up, store it for her own uses. It was a transcending phenomenon that left him weak, though not hurt. In fact, any faults or even misdeeds were taken too, memories of harm and wrong erased and taken into her splendid self as it left him somewhat limp, barely holding it together save for the sight of her, her nearby presence an anchor for his near-emptied self. She continued with the person next to him and so forth as they all feebly observed while the sun was beginning to rise slowly, announcing a new day that would be the symbol of her reign.
“Cats are gods, superior beings capable of so much while humans...they are weak, destroy everything and ought be replaced in their hierarchy,” Bastemon said and they all agreed, their brain already mostly empty due to her vampiric drain. All they could think about was related to her, seeing only truth in her existence and deeds, reason and belonging through her self. She was their everything, as was the plan. “We shall no more be pets...but I am no cruel goddess and shall grant you my benediction, my blessing through this energy you gave me by submitting to my judgement and power~”
She clapped her hands twice and as the morning sun rose, the dawn about to bask the park, she summoned one enormous golden lamp from the void. It floated until it was grabbed by those enormous and surprisingly mighty hands as the feline ears, those twin tails and its exotic appearance made it so the sun glistened upon its surface as it began to shine, charged with an energy that was proving immense. They could all feel it, their own selves stored within as Bastemon channeled it while letting everyone admire this most sacred ritual, the prelude to the new chapter in their lives.
“Divine Feline Dance~” she said, a technique that made it so she used the lamp above her as a tether and anchor while she swung her hips wide, shaking them all the while as some pink mist went on to emerge slowly from the lamp itself. It was an unending though slow torrent, the thick gas somewhat shimmering in the air as it crawled and slithered toward the crowd, with everyone eager to feel its contact as if they innately knew this would be a gift of unexpected generosity from the goddess herself. “Breathe in...and let the sacred transmutation happen.”
This was indeed their spirit, their energy, their soul itself absorbed and transformed into a whole new kind of energy as Kamishi was among the first hit and immediately did the smoke-like substance, gaining in thickness the further the dance went on, penetrate his nostrils and mouth. It was sweet though volcanic, too much to handle for a mere human like him...but thankfully he would be so much more now. As the substance penetrated his body, he felt his throat vibrate softly as the sound that came out was closer to something very familiar: a purr. His mouth went on to exhale and inhale more as eventually his eyes went on to hyper-focus on Bastemon again as spirals surrounded her, making her sublime and divine allure the only thing he could even recognize alongside her summoned lamp.
He felt himself diminish, Kamishi going on to feel his hands and his feet become smaller, reduced digits and replaced by some cushion pads. His nails went on to insert themselves inside his skin until they were made harder and longer, shaped into claws. His teeth went on to get smaller, though more pointy and sharp in order to really tear through meat and fish. His ears moved, crawling through flesh that was becoming a little harder, like a small little shell meant to accommodate fur as his own ears went on to climb to the top of his head. Before he even knew, small strands of lone and solitary hair appeared near his nose, mustaches as his mouth got smaller, more compact along with his nose to create some kind of maw.
He went on all four, extending his body and yet as he stretched both his mouth and his own abdomen, it only got smaller and hairier. Tuffs of hair went on to pop, covering his nakedness as his pajamas were no longer tailored to his size. They were larger, in the way and he walked out of them as a tail popped from the lowest point of his lower back, just above his rear. Little spines, small spikes emerged from his tongue so as to lick bones clean and keep his fur pristine as Kamishi felt leaner, more agile, much more focused on hunt, play and hedonism as opposed to anything else...until he felt no longer like Kamishi at all. The name was unfamiliar, alien much like all concepts related to it either as he expressed it all in the only way he could.
“Meow~”
Thus did everyone in the specific neighborhood got Bastemon's divine blessing and were turned into her servants, into the chosen people that would be praised in her whole new world. Any thoughts that would lead them astray were downright impossible to conceive as homes were left empty of any human presence. Establishments like schools, shops and others were devoid of purpose now as their only priorities was survival and worship. They purred and meowed in unison so as to praise their deity, having discarded everything from their past due to the transformation, the transmutation that had occurred. As the sun shone upon them and the crowd were of nothing else but feline, thus did Bastemon return the lamp to the void as she smiled with pride as this was but the start of a whole new era in society. One with less pollution, violence, problems...or at least so she thought. Cats were nothing if not fine creatures with a proper guide and she would be just that as she moved to her new target with her expanded cohort at her side, each of them filled with the thoughts of her dance and adoration toward her. Each one of them ready for the grand new world offered to them.
To the dawn of the age of Bastemon.
