Remy began their existence as nothing more than a handmade plushie made from scraps of fabric and given to Sara when she was born. Sara loved her plushie, which named it Remy as soon as she was able to (Also calls it Rem-Rem), and took it with her everywhere she went growing up until she couldn't anymore. Remy then stayed on Sara's bed and would be the plushie Sara held while sleeping. Being Sara's one constant no matter what life threw at her.
Then “The Great Cloud” hit and everything changed and a large part of the population became Anthros, including Sara. The 1st year was absolute chaos as the world was coming to terms with what happened and this took a mental toll on everyone including Sara. Yet through all that time, Remy stayed Sara's constant.
At that point, there was so much love for this little plushie that something amazing happened: Remy gained life (and grew to 4ft tall). Now they and Sara are inseparable and life has never been better.
Remy is a 4ft tall Plushie that, since it is a plushie, has no actual Gender. Remy does however identify as Gender Fluid so that Sara can have the type of company she needs at any given moment. They are pretty much emotionally linked with how Sara is feeling in the moment and does everything they can to make sure Sara is taken care of.
Their friends are that of Sara's, but they’re more likely to just hang out than start a conversation, and are completely shy around anyone Sara doesn't know.
