over 10 years is pretty good and did the right thing I know its sad but again 13 years you did a good job

Yea, my wife read up and for a Lab Mix, he was a few years pass what they normally live.

But still, it does hurt. I know he is in a better place and not suffering, surrounded by new family members and all. But the house just feels empty now, even though we have several cats lol.

You just catch yourself thinking ' I should do this because...oh..wait ' and it just gut punches you when you realize just how many things you did...that you no longer can or have to do..
