Got back to work on this one over the last couple of days, and I made some scans as I went... Although I didn't make a lot of progress scans, because I was making good headway, and wanted to finish tonight.

Anyways, this is one of the ugly duckling stages - where I've just laid down the basic color and shading of the pool table surface, but the texture is still all wrong. Thats where I layer on top of it with a few coats of acrylic until I get the texture I desire - in this case, the smooth felt.
